i installed esf to c:\valve\steam\steamapps\myaccountname\half-life but when i open it it just goes and opens steam i have halflife 1 also and condition zero

Steam opens up. In what way. Cause STEAM has to run if you want to play ESF?

ok i click the esf desktop and all it does is open steam thats it it shows me all my games

Is ESF in those games?

nope it doesnt show it in my games only on the desktop

Than try this.

Go into your STEAM founder. There is a file named ClientRegistry.blob

Close STEAM and delete that file

Than open STEAM again.
