Help!!!!!!!

Alright, Im attempting to make my first map and whenever I try to select a character, the server restarts!! Whats wrong??? Could it be the entities??? And what entities are needed??? This is my first try so I need a lot of help, and yes, I read a tutorial!! Then again, it was one for Firearms, so I dont really know what entities are needed!

I had that same problem and so did darkness,heres what u do.
U make the map then run it in wc (f9) to compile it make sure u have it so it saves it in the directory esf or fa or whatever u r making map 4 in the maps folder then once it has started to run and u get the option to pick your player quit it then go in the mod u r making the map for and create a lan game and open it in there
i dont know why but wc dont let u run a lot of mod maps .

Error: Entity 4, Brush 0: SKY brushes not allowed in entity
Error: Brush type not allowed in entity

I was tryin to make CS map, and it wouldnt compile!! And thats why!! I dont know what the hell it means!!

When you run the map, put this in the executable command line for HL. +Deathmatch 1 -dev -console -game ESForces

That'll let you start from WC.

Make sure the map is in ESForces\Maps directory

Make sure you have:

info_playerstart
info_deathmatchstart
info_goodstart
info_evilstart
info_intermission

At least one of each, and multiple if you can for starts.

What exactly does the info_intermission do?

You know how on some maps you get a nice panoramic view of the map whilst you select your character? And then there's a few where your face keeps bouncing off the concrete?

Info_Intermission is used for Character Select and Team Select's background. Place it where ever you wan't someone to be looking from when they first enter the server.
