Its not a problem with ESF, its a HL2 problem >.<

Everytime I start it up, the screen would either be black, or if it starts going it will freeze at the loading screen. Making me having to restart it to have it working proberly(my computer, not HL2, which already is 'broken'?)

That's why he said it's HL2 and not ESF, He is having the problem with HL2.

I had the same problem i just let it sit there for a few mins then it poped up, Try waiting a little awhile(5mins Max).

well if you don't care about the menu screens and all their prettiness, add -console to the games shortcut - it'll make it load quicker

im sorry i thought he ment that he was trying to run esf using HL2 or something like that
