I made this model... it's a Terrorist Girl xD was supposed to be for CS1.6 but ended up being a HL Multiplayer Model since I don't own CS1.6

I followed the cs girl tutorial and made this.
But I've got one problem with a transparent texture, alpha texture right?
How do I make it work?

have you tried it ingame? i know milkshape is retarded with transparent textures, not showing them transparent when on blue bg

i suggest you try it ingame

Already done that. It's also blue ingame.
And Milkshape supports those stuff, it should be transparent in Milkshape too.

well then try to use no background in PS and work on a new layer as it is transparent, then save it as idk what format..
or search for some tuts cant help you better than this sry :/

Save it as a tga and add an alpha channel to it. It should work.

if its for Half-Life.. you have to make it transparent either in the QC... or in the HLMV. I forgot the command for the QC to make it transparent on compile..

but yeah, just open up HLMV, load the model, on the texture tab you just check the transparent box, and you should be set.

since half-life requires a bmp file as a texture and those do not support an alpha channel and had to be indexed Valve helped itself by choosing the transparent color by being the last color in the indexed palette, additionally the alpha-test transparency bit has to be set, either by the qc file or within the modelview.
