Help - some old game

I have been trying to remeber the name of and older game, but i cant remeber it.
And I thought maybe some of you guys know what game I'm talking about.
It was a game for the SNES. It was pretty colourful (I think).
You played some guy who could shoot his limbs to defeat enemies.
And you lost your limbs one after another if you were hit.
It was a kind of jump&run.
Hope somebody can help me, this really bugs me.

Never heard of it's title (maybe because I was 5 when i played it the last time).
Had these memories of this game but couldn't remember well how it looked like.
Now I know ^^
