I've been modeling off and on for a little while now, things have been interupting me as of late though. So I'm a bit rusty, and keep discovering new things. I used 3DS Max 5, I was curious as to how people do Poly By Poly modeling though? I've searched for the right tool to do it for sometime now, but it never seemed like I was doing the right thing. I was thinking people may have used the box tool, but that just seemed insnane, too much scaling... welding... etc... So if anyone could perhaps... assist me, or lead me in the right direction? That would be great... thanks a lot

the only way i know of doing it in 3ds iisss probly the wrong way but this is what i do:

make a box >_>
edit mesh
select the boxes vertexes
delete them
tehn create vertex ten the face tool to join em up
