HELP PROBLEM

Ok i installed esf the full and patch, when I click on it it says

The item 'steam.exe' that this shortcut refers to has been change or moved, so shorcut will no longer work properly.

Then make a new shortcut :/

Errrr.......it dont work it does when I start up HL then activate it, but it dont work when I click it from desktop or in ESF in start all programs

You need to install Steam since it seems you downloaded the steam version.

And I dont wana get steam kus last time I got it messed up my pc......and HL.... Ok well I patched it, and when I go into hl and activate ESF and i go to multiplayer and it comes up it says ESF is out of date, when I updated it from 1.2 to 1.2.1 that patch and it still says it.......sigh

Hmm... I'd appreciate it if you didn't triple post, and used the edit button next time.

Anyways, if ESF is asking for "Steam.exe" then I would guarantee it's the Steam installer.

Check this thread for a download that is still compatible with WON.

well 1.2 is compatible whit won and so is 1.2.1 but it works beter on steam anyways

now i can minimize the game whit out crashing it :laff:

Yer not gonna find any servers up using WON since they took the dive however.
