Even the GBA has its own rendition in the form of a Starsky and Hutch game, which allows players to drive around as they please through a city and some of the surrounding country areas - so, why not have that style of gameplay on the DS?
The difference being that, that game was 2D made to look 3D (like Wolfenstine 3D on the SNES) which eliminates the gameplay options of a real 3D world. Hmmm, maybe it was wrong of me to go as far as to say the DS couldn't have a GTA style game, but I do believe a game of that type would have a lot more success on the PSP.

Suppose I'd better say it too... I'm not trying to advocate the PSP or the DS, I'm just trying to keep it even. Like Majin_You, I don't own either console and I won't own one until I see a group of games to my liking.

and the DS can watch DVDs/CDs too, a wireless addon but still counts.
Not that I don't believe you heard this somewhere, but please post a website about it. I can't seem to find info regarding this anywhere.
