Half life WON

I have half life but uses WON and I need A steam Half life so is there a way to download a steam platform for hl instead of WON or do I have to buy a new half life and do they sell a steam half life on steam or in a shop around JHB thanx

DL steam. Then, right click on Half-Life and click Purchase. On the bottom, click Register Product I already own, and then put in your CD-key. There you go, your half-life is now registered to steam.

It is legit I bought it a couple years back so even if it is WON ESF and steam will still work on it

I did DL steam but it does not work on my proxy even though I have opened ports

When I install ESF on to my WON half life it gives me a error about could not load library client.dll

oh so when I type in my key then I have to download the steam version of the game
(I logged in through the proxy server steam still does not connect through my pc)
I registered my HL cd key on steam and know it says I have to download HL and some of the mods if I want to to play is that right.
