Ok well guys im in a sticky sit. that i was gonna ask my trusty ESF'ers out there to help me with. Look i like WoW. I tied the trial version and it was pretty fun. i got my tauren in 14 days up to lvl 15 . I was wondering what i should do because.....
1.Im not completely rich or wealthy but i got some money from relatives.....300 bucks actually....alot of gift cards though..
2.It seems as though im gonna need to put alot of hours in just to have fun..

So my main question is should i buy WoW with a game card and fork up $50 (i think thats the right cost....) and also HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU PLAY A DAY ALSO? CAUSE I DON't WANT TO WASTE MY MONEY! :cry: IS IT REALLY WORTH IT?

Any game that you have to pay for monthly is not worth it in my opinion. There is one thing you can do.... get a job.

Firstly, you'll have fun as soon as you start playing, WoW is really well made to just be able to pick up and play right away.

And when you first get the game, expect to play every free minute per day that you have, you'll probly even skip school a few times just to play.

Most average players though probably give in a good 5 hours per day.

After which their social lives are pretty much non existant. Oh, and people have died from playing too much WoW.

Stay away from the WoW. Seriously. I know everyone you know is super hyped, but don't give in. There is more to life than watching female night elves prance around naked or w/e they do.

Someone should probably hold an ESF funeral for him in their server. Then all the good players can jump in and kill all of you over and over, and e-piss on his grave.

Bass, take it from someone who has never been addicted to WoW, but has lost friends because of the amount of hours they played. Don't do it. Look at me. Look into my beautiful eyes and what I'm told are amazing eyelashes. Don't get sucked into my gaze, though. Don't do it. Do you honestly want to waste money on something that is in all probability going to destroy your social life and relationships with anyone close to you? Forget about the WoW fiends. Play chess. It's good for your mind, you'll meet intelligent people, and you'll have fun.

If you ever get addicted to World of Warcraft, then I'll make sure to send you a link to the "On-Line Gamers Anonymous" website that I found. They have a user friendly forum for which you can express your addiction, which then the members will attempt to free you of your burden, the burden known as... World of Warcraft... and any gaming related addictions you might have.

On a more serious note, just make sure you use common sense when/if you play World of Warcraft. If you've played for a couple of hours straight, then it's time for you to turn off your computer, and go outside for the rest of the day. Either that, or find other hobbies to add to your daily schedule in addition to playing World of Warcraft, so you don't end up playing it for a whole day, such as getting a job. I'm sure there are jobs that hire at 14, it's just a matter of going out there, and finding out who hires at that age.

As for whether wasting money on World of Warcraft is worth it or not, I personally think that it's not worth it.

When my time runs out is when i take a break from WoW and do the **** i gotta =\ then again its a question of how long I can last without WoW.... You can't just start playing WoW for an hour a day... you gotta put the time in if you wanna make it worth while... but thats when it starts to drain away your life.

In a way, WoW makes you work just to play the game, so it's almost like having a job, but the money aint real, neither are the benefits.

I didn't think World of Warcraft as any game addiction, I have it and I've only been to LVL 12 with my human warrior dude. I got my dude green gear, its just that... doing quests is boring and even grinding+quest is boring to me. Overall, I didn't find it addicted. I wasted $20 on it.

I'll admit that the private servers were a lot of fun than the legit ones, in my opinion.
