Over the years I've modeled Guile from Street Fighter to visualize my progress, and here is the latest go. I've been stuck modeling environments for the past two months so It was definitely a nice change to model this guy. Here he is.



I'll have to get back to you on the polycount Max 9 is homo and doesn't have the counter. Anyways I have some proportion errors I'm sure but I'll take care of those as I get the mesh done.

Yeah i know I fixed it after the screenshot. Anyways got a polycount plugin for max 9 and this bad boy stands in at 2400 polies about 1600 under my goal. :(



There's some wires, still pretty messy got to clean it up some more, but He comes in at 2450 triangles.

he is gonna fall over forward, the legs are in the right position, but the upper body doesn't follow the posture.

Judging from this ref his waist should be a little thinner.

It's awesome so far, cant wait to see a skin slapped on it =D

I still think the waist is too wide but right now it also seems like the whole lower body is too wide according to the ref you posted.
Check Ne0's drawover =]

I'm being careful not to make him too skinny..

Anyways just started texturing him.

He's far from being too skinny and you can always do a backup, right now he's wayyy to wide, to me at least.

Great work on the skin, the pupils bug me a bit, not sure whats up with that so I'll wait for more progress =D keep it up man

The stomach is too wide. It makes your model look fat.
The pupills are to much like this >_< move it like this <_> to make him look like this ^_^ (I hope you understood what i mean by this symbols, lol..)
The tip of the nose is too wide.
The mouth is looking too much like this :-(.

The skinquality and the polyflow is very good though
