I did a seach and saw that There was already a thread like this about a month ago started by sakura but since were not allowed to revive older threads i just made a new one Anyway here are the newest images for the game let me know what you think everyone.
We are all asking the big question, what is San Andreas going to be like? What will be in the game? There have been a few suggestions like being able to fly or have a jet-ski. Well there have been recent official articles on what the gameplay will be. Imagine roaming around three big cities with your own recruited gang members, performing house robberies and four-person drive-bys. You will believe that CJ is real as he has to eat to maintain stamina and work out to keep fit. It wonât be just running around the block a few times like previous GTAs. CJ will be able to go to a gym and lose those extra pounds. If the gym doesnât suit your style you can take a dip at the local beach. Yes you can swim! The city directly affects your characters progression, abilities, and even appearance.
San Andreas will be much bigger than Vice City as you have already heard. It will also have much more unique places such as a fully operational casino and buildings have fully-rendered interiors.
Donât be missing Tommy Vercetti because it is said that San Andreas will have appearances and mentioning of past GTA characters as well as well know acting talents. Missions will be made to suit your skill level and you actions while not on mission affect your position on the story line. Last but not least San Andreas will have more modes of transportation with improved car handling.
We all can't wait!
So you've read about the cities, been shocked by the weapons, but who can you expect to be seeing make an appearance in San Andreas? Not much has been release but what little info we have is yours to keep. The main character is called Carl Johnson. Much like Fido and Tommy Vercetti of previous installments Carl will be your gateway to the game. It's also rumoured that you may play as other characters as parts of your missions; something that was lacking in previous games.
It's not just you and Carl though. A longtime friend of Carl's named "Smoke" will make an appearance as well as his brother "Sweet Johnson". Both of whom are part of Carl's old gang the Orange Grove Families. With the game beng focused on the drama of the Johnson family we can be sure to be seeing alot of these two and other members of the family throughout the storyline. It's also rumoured that EightBall from GTA III may make an appearance as Rockstar wants to pull the three stories of GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas together.
Forget the central characters for a moment though. Pedestrians play a vital part in the GTA series. Who would there be to brutally mame in your day to day killing without them? Dan Houser has promised that the pedestrians of San Andreas will be of more and greater quality. Using the new AI system, every character you see will have a "brain" allowing it to react differently depending on the situation they are faced with. The average recording session for each pedestrians dialogue has also gone up from ten minutes to a whopping 60 minutes!
After much speculation it was revealed that San Andreas is infact not a city but a whole State! This may have you thinking, if the game is named on a State just how BIG is it going to be?! Well we can tell you that the game consists of three cities; Las Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturra. These are based on Los Angeles, San Franciso and Las Vegas respectively. Each of these cities is approximately the size of Vice City!
The different cities will be open at different points in the story just as we have seen in previous installments of the GTA series. All of these cities will be connected by vast highways that all have their own unique and entertaining characters and features along the way.
Los Santos (Los Angeles)
Based upon Los Angeles the city will contain a tribute to the Watts Towers aswell as lots of smog to give it the true downtown LA feel.
San Fierro (San Francisco)
The thing that made the driving in GTA III so much better than Vice City were the hills available. Being able to move up and down aswell as across your environment gives a greater sense of depth and realism. Vice City was for the most part extremely flat. San Fierro will be the basis for this diverse landscape which includes hills and even a mountain that you can drive over!
Las Venturra (Las Vegas)
Las Vegas is the gambling capital of the world and Las Venturra will be no different. Not much information is available about the city yet but we can confirm that you will be able to buy casino's and even gamble your money within them!
You can rest assured that San Andreas will have Carl armed to the teeth with weapons to carry out his evil yet slightly ethical deeds. Expect a system similar to Vice City whereby you have different sets of weapons each suited to a particular type of killer. Alternatively Rockstar may be keeping inline with the realism even more by limiting the amount of weapons you can carry at once. Perhaps allowing you to store excess weapons in your hideouts.
So far we can confirm that Uzi's, Shotgun's, Handgun's and Bottle's have been sighted in released media which should be available as weapons to be used by Carl.
Not only will these weapons used for your everyday (although not an average day) shooting but will also be used greatly in robbing stores, burglary and jacking vehicles. You can also expect the weapons to be used much more effectively by other characters such as the gangs and police compared to previous installments.
Rockstar also promise to give each weapon a more realistic feel when being used. This will be helped by the games "impact animation" system which uses ragdoll physics to make shooting an enemy look painfully realistic. Not only that but you can also now hold dual-pistols to brutally unleash a firing frenzy upon your opponent.
