ive a really good system for who replaces who its good
u see make gtvegeta folder and put vegeta wt mastosh in it and call it gtvegeta(same as folder) then if u start a game make sure model lock's off then tart it as vegeta and open console and type "model gtvegeta" and ur gtvegeta cool a
gohan = chibi goku
goku= goten
trunks= trunks
vegeta mastoshvegeta chibi vegeta and gtvegeta gogeat

hmm... nice idea you go there... but really... i think maby its a good idea to create a little script for that, like make the f1-f12 buttons to transform/change, but i guess just really replacing the origionals is better since you can edit sprites and sounds ^_^
