I was looking for a free MMORPG to play other then SRO.... then I found this game... I'm going to try it out because look at the video... it looks so awsome.

http://files.filefront.com/Granado_Espada_v20_eng_video/;6972745;/fileinfo.html

If anyone likes, I link to some free MMORPGS that I thought were really cool too. :scared:

Heres the link if anyone wants to download too.

EDIT: To play it, you gotta order a CD or download it as packs.

you can make up some numbers, you can use any ID to identify yourself but you gotta write them down if you do. I just used my student number.

Looks pretty much good to me, i just wonder if there will be a lag-fest like in Flyff ive been playing recently. Lag seems to be eternal problem in free MMORPG's...

As far as i know, we were talking about this Granado Espada, not RFO.
Besides, that RF online your playing, is actually a private server. The link to the real site is here, where you normally had to pay to play that game... -.-
But however ill take that back because i have played several free mmorpgs where there hasnt been much lag at all, like Voyage Century Online for example...

I believe it has lot of people, but i dont think its legal because that private server doesnt own the rights to that game. And spreading information about illegal gaming on these forums is probably not allowed...

You could easily ask the same question about million other .com sites i dont feel like listing. Many Bittorrent sites with illegal BT's for example...
And you dont need to know why i know this...

No. They don't. Pretty much all Korean mmos are grind fests.

Kill 200,000 of this.

Kill 1 billion of that!

Oh my god. You leveled up.

Now kill 500 trillion of this.

Good job! Kill the evil boss who has ~ hp!

Don't most MMORPGs have "Kill this, get that, give it to him" kind of missions? And then go to some dungeon, get some weapon which has a name in a different color (blue, green, purple or gold most of the times), level up and kill n00bs?

They all do, but the Korean ones are built around the concept that each day you have 8 hours to spend grinding, and that you will find such an experience enjoyable and rewarding. Seriously, the experience requirements for each level on some of these games is several times greater than those of WoW. The one's I have played were also decidedly lacking in story content as well. All the killing quests were simply "kill this because I tell you to," rather than "kill this because it makes sense with our faction's goals in this area." And even then, the object you were trying to pick up would have only a 10% drop, and you'd need like 10 of them.

Just take the rewarding experience that WoW can be, add countless hours spent to be that tiny bit more powerful, add in ridiculously broken economies (these games often have bots and people who farm for a living), and poor translation of what dialog the game does have to explain why you have to spend an hour killing one thing for a particular quest and you have a Korean MMO.

These games are almost as exciting as sitting and staring at the wall.

Yeah, thats why I quit Silkroad. Too much grinding and what everyone in the game does is talk ****. Thats many of the reason why I bot in the game and have some gold farmers. I PVP when I feel like it, I bot so I can achieve higher levels. Silkroad is acually good for its PVP but the grinding can take up to 8 months to even be maxed level, even by botting which is currently lvl 80.

Games like WoW can take 2 month to be lvl 60 if you know what to do, referring to my dad here who made a mage less then a month at lvl 56, 6 hours a day.

Yes, its true that grinding is boring, but in some games you dont get that feeling of accomplishing something when you hit high level, because about everyone else is max leveled too or atleast have another character which is maxed...
But i also heard that silkroad is one of the worst games to level up...
