Either way the current headers must be changed because they look terrible. The transition effect is simply not good enough (it fades out too quickly, check #41), some headers don't have transition on the right side at all and the logo positions are inconsistent between headers (few pixel difference). Oh and the transition is somewhat curved.

Agreed, I'm not sure why Sky changed it all so quickly. I think more work should be put into the banners instead of randomly changing them like that, but that's just my opinion. I'm not sure how many people would enter, but perhaps a forum competition would be a good way to get a banner done, and then work from there with the winner.
