GOLDEN AXE!!!!!

Probably my favorite games of all time were the Golden Axe series on the Sega Genesis. I would play them for hours on end, mystified by the killer soundtrack and extremely believable death sounds of NPCs (yes I'm being sarcastic there).

So, I'm browsing games for 360 as I just got mine and I come across this title

Golden Axe: Beast Rider

I immediately urinate my pants just at the thought of a next gen recreation of my favorite series. Just wish there was more info on it.

I've played them, but I seriously don't see the appeal, or why people go so crazy over them.

Golden Axe is one of the best classics... That game was so great for its time, so many quarters wasted....

I was wondering about it since there hasn't been any updates in the past few months anywhere I could find, but it was on Best Buy's future release list, slated for a December '08 release. And it's supposed to be multi-platform.
