Goku really doesn't use any other attacks when he is ssj,ssj2 and ssj3 but i do undeerstand why the took the sprit bomb attack of the list when he hits ssj, he can still use it he just never does, why he not be able to use in the first place. Off the record i would just like to say when he was fighting pikkon in the other world he went ssj and fought with pikkon and then called out Super Kaioken.

dont u think goku is strong enough? when he transform to ssj his kamehameha is very powerfull. why he must have genkidama at ssj?

Once he goes SSJ he can not do a SB when he is ssj he has evil and hatred in him and you can only hold the sb if you are pure good he says it in a eps.

I recal movie when he fights the androids....

the best way to implement KaioKen and preventing spamage would be to have the number of times KaioKen while it multiplys your PL by that factor it also increases Ki usage by the same level for example using KaioKen 2 doubles your PL but also Doubles the rate of Ki usage. Giving it both a positive and negative Pos if ya hit em ya hammerin em with double the power Neg if ya miss em ya just waited double the amounta Ki ya would have normally and thus ya basically got no Ki left to fight back with

if u analize well u can see that when u do the melee stuff u fly very quick if we can change the color of that aura into red we can have a cheap Kaio-Ken
