I mess around mixing and producing music in my spare time, and one of my passions was playing with dragonball samples.

I know its not everyones taste, and theyre lengthy tracks (esp Cooler), but its pretty unique and i think quite worth the ride.

Heres a few of my tracks that are usually crowd pleasers. It kinda tells a story with an anarchic energy to it. Most of them were made in a very nihilistic period of my life.

Reminds me of the synthetic tunes from my old 1.2 times.
Although this IS higher quality.

The "free.. freewill" gets kinda annoying.. I suggest cutting it down a bit in some parts =D
the "hame hame HAAAAA" was awesome really creative

I know the free will kinda gets annoying, but its kinda become such an anthem for most whove heard it since I first made it, i never got round to really editing it. I ended up making a remix as a chapter in my Cooler mix and havent touched it much since.

Any other feedback?

I thought it would be a bit impolite to force people to wait for a 40Mb download just to realise they couldnt stand what [often heavily stigmatised] genre it appeared to be at a glance. I was hoping that the ability of choice would counteract the hassle of rapidshare =þ

Nice job on the tunes!
I think that the song that got to me the most was X.
Although short, it has that kind of sinister techno-like noise that I love.
All in all I like how you put sounds and entire sequences from episodes.. cell saga and the trunks movie.

X was the most recent track, so Id gotten the gist of things by then.
Was a lot sampling in these ones in retrospect. Its amazing DBZ manages to stay on top.

I wouldnt want to out-do pop music.

In any case, this is hardly constructive. All you had to do was tell me a track is too repetitive, but hey welcome to music -its all permutating patterns. The insult is unnecessary and unhelpful, especially when much worse is being lapped up by the consuming public.

Cmon man play nice, and help me out here. Is it the genre you dislike? Are you one who is blind to any genre you dont appreciate? What did you actually listen to? What was the bit you found excruciating? What do you know about music yourself which could be brought to the table?

If something you have to say is fruitful at all please go ahead and say it, otherwise keep your neuroses to yourself.

I've always wanted to make beats of my own, I found one program awhile ago (Think it was Fruitloops) I think I would love the fact of making some of my own custom DBZ tracks, I know I could make some killer ones Anyway back onto the subject, I LOVE these man, You have alot of unique ideas for a DBZ Theme...it just seems so right for it.

Edit: I just listened to All or Nothing (Gohan one) I think the only thing that kind of killed it was the Street fighter part...but thats just my opnion

I used Fruity Loops 5 for compilation
Wavepad for wav editing and sampling
PowerDVD for a dvd player

Fruityloops is simple, easy to use, and very versatile. I would use this as a base to learn from, but dont be disappointed by slow progress. I started with classical music tuition (trumpet, band ensemble), shifted to Music and Music 2000 for the PSX, and applied that to FruityLoops.
Nowadays I use a VCI100 (deck and turntable midi controller), Traktor DJ Studio3, and working on integrating FL, Ableton Live and Deckadance. The sooner my more experienced mate works out the midi porting the better ^_^ CuBase and Reason are good progs too, but i find if you know your way around FL enough you dont need them.

I like the StreetFighter bit to a degree personally, but i admit its not perfect and needs a bit of work. Im just too lazy to dig my teeth into it atm lol. It was there more for fun, and to assist the storytelling of the song.
