Gary's Mod V10 to be sold over steam

So apparently Gary's Mod V10 will be sold over steam. He's making a new site for the mod [er... game] if any of you want to check it out:

I don't know how to feel about paying for something that used to be free. I would personally like it if GMod came with Ep2 or 3 like Portal or TF2 does. Anyway, discuss.

Yeah - GM9 will remain around. It won't be 'removed' or 'disabled'. It will serve as a demo to GM10.

No.

Will we have to pay for Garry's Mod updates?
No, they'll be free and frequent.

I think he's an idiot (even though he might make a sum of money being one).

What more can they add to dissaude GM fans? They fell in love with the game they're playing for free, new features aren't going to make them like it less.

But be real. If steam offered you a deal to be able to sell a world-wide known game you made for 10$, would you do it?

I know I hate how it's 10 bucks now, but being realistic, I would do the same thing he did. He could gain TONS of money from this.

This is some of the oldest news. I heard about this 2-3 months ago (Somewhere around there, can't remember precisely when). I most likely won't be buying it. GMod went to hell after version 6 IMO.
