List some games that you have played in the past/present that go much further than thier money (ie: didnt just play thru the single player once, and never played again [very extreme example]).

Obviously Half-Life is a perfect example because well.. its years old and people still play it (its mods atleast).

I still play warcraft 3 frozen throne a ton, maybe even more than when i first bought it.

Tribes 2, after 3 years of playing I can now say i'm officially retired. I never touch the game anymore, but thats mostly because of the people playing it. (atleast I can say I was in the #1 clan of europe)

my brother bought it when it came out years ago. (1994)

here's some info on it for the people that dont know it
http://i-want-a-website.com/about-tt/

and.. it's free for download now and is about 24mb hehe.
but it still keeps me busy several hours a day when im bored.
this game DEFINITELY is a game that you will never forget .. that is IF you know how to play ;)
even now after all those years that i've played it i keep learning new tricks on how to get better and better.

oh and battlefield 1942 ;) im in a clan of bf1942 and still proud to play it

Diablo 2 _O_
Damn, I love that game ^_^ bought it years ago, never regretted it :)
Sometimes I stop playing, but that never lasts longer than a couple of months.
It gets me hooked everytime I start playing again.

I have to say Starcraft and Warcraft 3 have gone the most mileage for the buck with me. I got both for a mere combined 45 bucks and have been playing them for years.
