Made the fingers longer
Added some more hair in the front, and, personally, I think it looks better
Gave him *drum rolls*

it looks great, only gaara is not that built he is a small kid, ur rught it does look like an adult gaara because he looks to strong.

He has the form of an adult. Gaara is only 12-13-14.. remember that when modeling him =D.

But, specifically what areas are too built? saying he looks too adultish/rough is pretty vague

Should try comparing the proportions with the refs SSChris posted. That should help with his body. ATM he looks rather muscley too.

Remember, Gaara does not punch people, his sand does

The hair should also be longer and wilder =P

The only thing that I see wrong now is the neck looking a bit to wide.
Look again at the ref pic one post before yours. Oh and he needs a pointier chin.
For the rest you did an awesome job. I can imagine how difficult it must have been to capture his hair. In which you certainly succeeded.

Nice Gaara model. I like it alot. But i dont think neck is to long but too thick. Look as ref pic...the neck is way thinner. Also to make him look a bit young maybe making the shoulders more rounded.
I think also may be a bit more hair onto. I think the top of hair is too low atm.
But i think all in all nice model. :yes:

Hmmm, after posting the first batch of pics, I realised I completely forgot something...Gaara's Kunai/Shuriken holsters are on both legs, and, yea, I forgot about them, so...>_<
