well, i am making a map, pretty simple one, an outter space place, with water, and on the water is floating an arena, and i want the arena move slightly, and for that , i think i need func_train, but it isnt in my entitie's list, i am a complete n00b to mapping , so plz tell meh :)

There is no func_train in the ESF 1.1 FDG, but there is in the ESF 1.2 FDG. So wait until Saturday ;).

You can complete the map in two days, just get it all polished up until then =P.

umm i belive you can just paste the name func_train and it may work.
i know this worked with several mods.

I don't think you can put the code into ESF by pasting in the line "func_train". Just wait until Saturday :).

i know that sounds crazy but it worked with a few other commands in esf that werent in the list.
I do know one thing that didnt work along time ago was the cameras...
Ill try to think of the few that worked that werent in the list.

Here's what you do: Use the Half-Life FGD WITH the ESF v1.1 FGD.

Problem Solved.

Then you can compile and your func_train ents will work on v1.2

It's an entity that is mainly used for...well...trains :p

Any "vehicle" type thing you've ever used in ANY half-life mod is a func_train

can something ride with that? or what? i never used it so.....i dunno what it is for (what to do with the vehicle .. or what it can)explane me please

It can be used many different ways. The most common of which is to make a controllable train of some sort. An example would be a track with info_path entities to tell the "train" where to go.

Yes, you could do that too. I just gave an example of the most popular use of the entity.
