Frieza - Skiwans Concept - Ingame preview/animation/fixes

this thread is just about the frieza i made a few months ago. (concept: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v148/davidskiwan/friezasama.jpg by davidskiwan)
the concept was drawn by Davidskiwan and it looked so cool , that i simply had to model it.

Actually it was though to get it ingame as it is allready ingame.

But isnt it cool if you can slap your enemy with a big hand in fast combos?

Actually after i heard the esf 1.3 beta will have allready a new fighting system or something similar.... my first 3 animations are kinda useless rightnow.... so for now ill keep with normal animations.



Animations i have done so far:
combo1
combo2
transform_long
deathball charge/attack
Frieza disc charge/attack/aim
swoop left/forward/right
deep_idle/fly_idle (same animations)

I had to play around with the attachments, but it worked out so well aswell :)


im proud of what i have done so far because... i have never really animated for ingame.

my todolist is for now only thinkging about making a realistic skin...but it may be hard for me to start upon it. As no animations are in my list aswell exept the basic melle anims/powerups because after esf 1.3beta is out, i may start on new animations.


I really appricate helpers like Animator and Texturer for now.
(if someone messages me an i wont answer in the time of the next week, please note that im on vacation for a week)

It is allready esf 1.2.3
but will you still play esf 1.2.3 when esf 1.3 beta will come out?

so is this my skeleton, or a new one.

i dont really see why my name is in the credits if my skeleton didnt work o_O?

if you did re-make it,
did you enter the bone values in manually via text editting, or start from scratch on a un-modified skeleton?


im just trying to track down why mine didnt work, as i did it exactly how i used to do it (on skiwans BTL models and such, with new hair/tail/cloth bones)


i would like to see the model though, and perhaps make a few animations if i can pry myself away from SRO and this other thing im workin on

Wow!! That's some good stuff right there. But let me point this out. This is what makes people complain about ESF not being ' Dragonball Z Accurate '. Having that sexeh hand isn't accurate at all towards Frieza. *Sigh* But that's only my taught...actually. I'd hate to see Frieza in 1.3 with a hand on top of his head >_<

Nuttzy, your in because i use the skeleton you builded up for me, kreshi did just fixed or done something, he still didnt explained anything lol!

Kama & Sv: Sooner or later you will be able to slapp with the hand, thanks :D

Guzzie: uhm... now in the otherway, there are alot downloads of models wich almost look the same because they are "as close as possible" accurate to the original dbz story...... thats why you sometimes get bored of the models.... Having different stuff is always fun.... this model... dunno... maybe would be the 3rd or 4th model wich is not accurate to dbz?

Kongkong: heh yeh though so, though no updates wlil come for now on the animations after the open beta is out also i will be on vacation for a week.

Kenny and Nuttzy may will do a few animations for this model *gg* , if they wish to show of some anims, you can show them off here in this thread :)

as for now, i have worked and i still work on a reskin:

WHOA! Those pictures are really some good stuff!

Can someone tell me that what drawing equipments are used to do that picture?
Because im really into drawaing and I want to learn more, that looks so cool. I MUST know how it's done.

well i think he used to draw alot first befor he got to the costum tools :p

skin update, really had to rush, didnt even get to finish the hand :-\ but i have to pack my thing now and wait when i will fly away.

I liked the original colours better PiXel. =(

-the biceps of his right arm is too long
-the legs skin looks dirty from the back
-the flesh skin is very blurry
-some parts of the model are skinned very well and some looks neglected
-the right hand is just coloured
-the feets from below looks also just coloured
-you neglected the whole neck skin

you have the potential to make a skin possessing the beloved "WOW"-effect.
But right now the first and simply skin looked better than your new one.

ingame preview with the reskin wip:

anybody knows how to remove the damage hit messages away ingame? they annoy me the whole play time.

Yea kinda liked his colors from the show better than the blue but what the hey. its your model.
