I recently watched a Louis CK special, and one of his jokes was about his young daughter and her never ending pursuit of why things are the way they are. The game is as follows:
Person A asks a question. Person B asks "Why?", person c answers, person d asks "Why?" and so on and so forth until we make our way to the bottom of the barrel or waddle into abstract or profound ideas and concepts.
Example:
A: Why do bird go south during the winter?
B: Because birds don't like the cold, and they'd flourish in a warmer climate?
C: Why?
D: Because some birds are unable to survive the cold weather or would be unable to preserve the lives of their incoming children in that particular climate.
E: Why?
And so on and so forth. The initial question will decide the fate of this game, so I'll leave that up to one of you.
