Yay, just started him yesterday. Just got the head done.
Its at 504 polys i think, pretty much done, just got some
minor clean up to do:

If the shaded area are where his eyes are going to be then his forehead is a bit big, apart from that it looks great :)

This is for the HL2 mod right?(the hl is dead isnt it) Add some more polys man.. it seems like ur still modeling for HL1 dont be scared to make it detailed :p

Dont get me wrong its very nice though. Polyflow= ;D Just make the forehead smaller

moved th hair around alot. Hope you like this better.

Either the forhead is too tall or the hair infront of his forehead is too small.

add another row of verts in the forhead since it looks messed up in the side view and there are some polies you can shave off him for instance you can combine the two rows of verts that run down between the eye and ear

Thats where the model is mirrored Inakuro, once its welded together that wont be there.

Anyway, lookin great Enix, cant wait to see the rest!

if u look at the ref there are 4 spikes over his forehead, not 3, and the head should be shaped more like a square, lookin fine otherwise

if that were the case it would be a sharp line not a shadow, its either a triangulation error or the part of the hair that conects to it is in the same smoothing group

Thats a triangular error. Two tris met at the center of the head and messed
it up. I might be able to fix it, updates soon, I got alot of new toys to play
with :devgrin:.

or you dont even have to add another row at the forehead, just move the top row up a bit and over a bit on the side view
