It's hard for me to find a decent anime because I don't even know half of the titles out there. I'm looking for movies only, no episodes. Style of art? Detailed work-wise, if you have seen Princess Mononoke, Akira or Memories then you know what I am talking about. I am looking for anime that is detailed. I want scenes that will stick in my head long after I finish the movie. I want to watch a movie that the artists took time in. Type of anime? Anything Sci-fi-ish or fantasy-ish.

Movies I have seen:
- Princess Mononoke
- BioHunter
- NausicaA of the Valley of the Wind
- Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
- Akira
- Ghost in the Shell
- Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence
- Twilight of the Dark Master
- Memories
- Metropolis
- Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz
- Vampire Hunter D
- Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
- X (worst movie ever)

I can't believe you haven't seen Ninja Scroll yet that was one awesome movie. Akira and Ninja Scroll got me addicted to anime.

Keep them coming guys. I've always wanted to see Steamboy but I forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me.
You should definitely check out Steamboy. I saw it the other night, and it's an incredible movie.

Other movies you should check out:

Dead Leaves
Appleseed
(original movie)
Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture
Fist of the North Star
Patlabor the Movie
Patlabor 2 the Movie
WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3
Armitage III: Dual Matrix
Armitage III: Poly Matrix
Ninja Scroll
Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie

These are all the movies I can remember being worth a watch.

Nah man, don't watch Steamboy. I did. Big mistake.

It's horrendously long and the characters aren't compelling at all. Barely any action. It's got a nice weird "steampunk" world, but the plot isn't interesting, and in the end it's just extremely dull (albeit with GREAT animation).
