Next Generation.
Reason being is I like the cast/crew of Next Generation more then any of the other series and also they had a lot more better episodes then the other shows in my opinion.

Deep Space Nine. Awesome character's and plot development. I like Voyager as well, but watching it on tv these days makes me laugh at its simplicity during most story arcs/episodes.

Next Generation was all the magic of the original show given a chance to flourish.

TOS is easily the second best, despite it's age. DS9 ranked real close third, almost second because of its superior writing and the power of it's leads. Avery Brooks is an awesome actor.

TNG was my favorite, but DS9 was a close second. Once the war started, that series kicked ass.

I cant even watch Star Trek after seeing shows like Battlestar Galactica and Firefly.

Star Trek in my opinion is like watching a documentary on aliens and space that is incredibly dull. (which I thought would be impossible)

Farscape is also one of my personal favourites, mostly because it made fun of almost every facet of the sci-fi genre, but also paid homage to alot of it.

So yes, my vote is none.

Also Doctor Who totally pwns Star Trek.

Although I loved TNG, and Voyager was ok, DS9 for me. The middle part of the series was really good, but the last few seasons were kinda so so.

I voted for TNG. It is simply the best sci-fi series I have every seen; period. The cast was unbelievably good, and the writing doubly so (particularly after the second season, imo). The amount of variety exhibited throughout the series in terms of overall plot, character development, and writing is just astounding. There's a reason it's still being aired 20 years after it started.

DS9 and TOS tie for a close second for me. DS9 had an awesome plot going when the Dominion came completely into the picture, but other parts of the story didn't gel with me all that well.

I love TNG, and am getting into DS9. After that it's Voyager, then Enterprise, then ToS.

I don't know why Voyager was always so appealing to me, even when they went and crapped all over the Borg's face. And I just... can't get over Robert Beltran's terrible acting as Chakotay.

TNG, I'm currently watching DS9 all the way through, and it comes in a close second.

Voyager was also awesome, Species 8472 rocks your face.

i liked the next generation.

however, i dislike star trek on the whole, for the fact that almost, if not all the "alien" races, are generally humanoid, and although have their own languages, all can speak english, or have a translator that instantly works for english... weird no?

It's pretty hard to get non-humanoid lifeforms to fit in a 60's TV budget. I think the best they did was have a guy under a blanket pretending to be some Si-based lifeform. Besides, it works for the plot lines to have some dialog between the crew and whatever random alien species that episode revolves around. Enterprise had a couple non-humanoid races in it that spoke their own languages, and I don't think the show was any better off for it.

The ships are equipped with universal translators that work off the language patterns and **** from alien races.
