Decided to start painting again on photoshop (been a while since iv done it) and deicded to try and repaint this picture:



and my progess so far:



think I did way 2 fine details on the eyes so I might remove them later or try to do them more painty

Ugh, cant really tell any critics as it is still in such early phase. But if i were you i would use harder brush/smudge tool, especially on Rin.
Soft brush looks kind of crappy and you might get some problems when/if you try to outline her.

ya, dont like painting with a mouse cuz there is no pressure effects unless u play around with a bunch of crap

hmm your doing it wrong. You should fill it in with large brushes and the shade with around 15-20 pixels brush, using small brushes on big things just comes out looking wrong. Use small brushes that you used for filling in details and such:)

Looking forward to seeing the update tough:)

well then the larger the canvas the larger the brushes you should use:)
i thought this was the resolution

better but now that you used smaller brushes see how everything looks like liquid? thats what i was trying to tell you...

painting anime is easy !_! ink your lines then colour it in... it's not like a regular painting where you have colour transition, or have to get rid of any drawn lines...
