If there a way to extract background music from a conversation? If I try to add my music over top the clip, the sound becomes garbage.

My goal is to just have the talking and have my music play instead. And yes, this is with DBZ.

You can omit certain channels -- typically voices are stored on different channels than music.

Try that with your music editor, and take a look.

If you have a professional sound tool, e.g. Adobe Audition you can filter the frequencies the reduce the music, you won't be able to totaly cancel it.
