I'll just copy/paste it:

[20:41:37] <Skyrider> I'm having a small issue.
[20:41:50] <Skyrider> If I connect my external through USB, it seems both partitions that's on the HDD.
[20:41:57] <Skyrider> But when I use eSATA, and only sees 1.
[20:42:09] <Skyrider> When I go to the disk manager, it says 700GB free space..
[20:42:16] <Skyrider> Which SHOULD be my data partition of my external.
[20:42:20] <Skyrider> Which shows just fine on USB
Some extra:
Skyrider: I thought at first it had no partition letter assigned.
Skyrider: But it just says there's free space, and I can create a new partition.
Would love to know if anyone knows an answer / solution :).

External HDD Type: WD My Book

Classified.
SATA Hot Plug isn't very reliable, unfortunately. What happens when you plug it in before booting your PC?

Never tried that honestly. I'm used to plugging in eSATA right away and reloading the hardware to find it.

Little add. Seems to be working now (eSATA).. I just can't figure out why the transfer speed is 3 to 4MB/sec. USB is even faster then this.
