Seems interesting. Quite a big spoiler there, and I'm disappointed that Half-Life "3" wont be made on a new engine.

Source engine isn't new either.. It's an upgraded HL1 engine..So my guess is that they'll do the same with the source engine for HL3.. Upgrade it to industrystandards of that time..

'Half-Life 3' (as in the next big game) isn't going to be on the Source engine, he was referring to the episodes (e.g Episode One) as Half-Life 3.

I'd rather they just make the new game, Episodic Content doesn't do it for me, moreso after seeing the Crysis demo.
