ESFL (Earth Special Forces League)

Hi everyone,

Well I have been thinking how can I support ESF Community a bit more.
There for I was thinking to make an official ESF League.
I contacted 1 of the ESF team to ask for there support and if he liked the idea.
I got a possitive mail back from him and he like the idea.
So I had to know how you guys think of the idea, so I made this post.

About ESFL:
ESFL is all about playing matches in serval divisions that match your own skills.
You are able to work your self up on a higher division.
Also after every season new players can join in they will start in the lowest league so they can fight there way up.

ESFL can support more then 900 players.
And more then 100 diffrend divisions.

ESFL is just a starting progress and we try to make things more intresting in time.
Diffrend challenges we have to come up with so you can test your strength everytime again and again.
We will start with 2 diffrend types.
1 on 1 battles and 2 on 2 battles.

Future of ESFL:
Well the future no one can predict.
We still need to see if everything will run well and the players are pleased.

But if everything runs out well then we have some more stuff for you in store.
Like a huge royal rumble with all divisions if you like to play in this.
Also adding a 5 vs 5 battles more based on Clan matches.
And who knows what we can do more.

ESFL Posibilities:
Well we have a system that has serval posibilities.
You can create teams for the 2 vs 2 and 5 vs 5 options.
We also have players stats for all divisions.

There is also transfer posibilities for if you want to go to another team.
This can only be done in the pre season when teams make them selfs ready again.
All this is possible.


There is still 1 thing we need to know.
How many people are intrested to join this league?
We would like to know if enough people are intrested.
I also have been thinking about a price this is still in the run and we let you know before the sign ups starts.

The first league will start in a poule system then the best 2 players of each poule continue to the next round.
This round will be a knock out round untill only 1 is left and is the winner.
After this we run our leagues in divisions with ESF:Final.

So give a comment of what you guys think of this idea?

It sounds interesting indeed. But I have a few questions, What server/servers would be hosting the matches? Would different regions of the world have their own divisions? :ie- USEast, Europe etc... Also I could see about setting up my server to help host matchs for USEast and I can bug Kami Sama and Fatal about theirs. (Which I have admin there also). It would take a combined effort from server admins to do this. I also like that newer players can get in on this and get matched according to their skill lvls. Keeps more new players from giving up the game due to experienced players giving the beat down.

As for servers, rules and stuff like that is sure the next step.
But its good to see you like the idea as well.

As for servers we will come up with servers for this.
We will come up with deticated servers for Europe and America.
And we will seperate the league so America will have theyre own league and Europe has theyre own.

AMXX should be used for balancing classes, unless you're planning to force Goku (and maybe Vegeta) only, which would suck.
I'll see if I'm interested after I see the rules. It's important.

Depends how you want to see ESFL.
Its an official league for ESF.
And we start on 1 on 1 battles and 2 on 2 battles.
But we want to see first if there is some intrest in this league.

Rules are important too. But without having people in the league rules are useless.
But soon I will post a bit more about ESFL.
So you know what we are planning to do more.

We are allready busy with a site for this league.
All in good time.

If there's gonna happen more stuff with ESF on 1.2.3, looks it's gonna be fun if there will be some guys to fight with (last time I played esf, it was all about reaching highest KI, and beaming-out whole server...)

I have like 500 players in my Server's rank list. Server opened like month ago.

Well this can be really cool, and you can do something like http://www.thejediacademy.net/ it was awesome back in the good times, teaching there, and learning.. playing etc...
If i could help i will... And for the league you can create seasons, with registered teams, fixed times etc.. so first i'd start with the training and other stuff, and after that the pvp league.
