Where is it? I check the folder and coudnt find it, why was it taken out?

That was my favorite map, they should put it back in. :smile:

They took it out, I still have all the old maps on my running dedicated server though. Join the server and vote-change the map.

OK then... why do they have to recompile it???
all 1.1 maps work for me in 1.2
I didnt checked it yet but I guess that the guru I have in the maps folder will work in 1.2
why shouldnt it?

I don't know why they didn't recompile it... maybe because Stryker didn't have the time, or they just didn't want to include it.

Also some rmf files are missing. The reason this map have to be changed is that all models are floating ...

oh you mean the Namekian houses?
cause I moved them to esf\models as they where there in 1.1
wont that be enough?

Some of the trees are out of place on some of the maps, but its nothing to take them out for. Hopefully a patch will bring them back sometime soon, but until then, just download 1.1 again and put the maps into your 1.2 folder. Its what i did.

The FGD has nothing to do with it. An FGD file is not even required to make a map, much less compile it.

I'm quite sure it was due to the whole clipping tweaking and fixing n what-not because now, the old official maps (ESF_Cell_Day is a good example) has a few major clipping issues.

Also, it may be because the old official maps do not measure up to the quality of the new official maps and they didn't want to bother remaking the old ones.

I personally love the new maps, except that my FPS goes to **** (From about 113 FPS to 50FPS) on them (Mainly just ESF_Cell_Games and ESF_Cell_Games_Night)

When I asked Zero about esf_cell_day, all he said was he already had a cell map.

wouldnt lowering those models just solve the problem?
OFF - I've seen sometime I dont remmeber when in a maps preview
that some of the maps like esf_city and esf_mtside had a remapping
like the arena in the city had pillars in it
and ESF_MTSIDE had more routes in it and even had mist I think
it looked pretty cool but it might be just very old cause I've seen there
the ESF_KAMI_DAY that wasnt in cause it was too bright

does any1 knowbs where's the addr of that preview thingy?

Sorry guys... I kinda havent had any time to recompile the maps for 1.2... In a couple weeks I will be at my first duty station and I should have some free time to make more maps and fix up current ones... Until then sorry guys. The Air Force is demanding.
