To be honest with you, it looks a little too blocky...
And it looks like some of your solids don't match perfectly. You can see little tiny gaps between pieces of the ground.
Work on that stuff a lil' and take some shots of it at ground level! :)

Work on it a little bit more, and keep us updated!

You have the general idea down, you just gotta make it all fit together. Clean up those gaps and try to make more realistic holes/broken cliffs. Also, you may want to go through the entire map and redo/realign the textures.

I agree with what they said. It looks like it was cut up by scissors. Fit it together and make it look smooth.

I fixed some holes, so they look better...But I think something is missing in my map. It looks so empty.

You can make em yourselves but there is also a way to open some ones in the on of the dlls, i can't remember how to do it anymore since i recently formatted my pc and i don't have worldcraft at the moment. Ask a more experienced mapper.

hmm
for tree's and stuff
you go to your esf/models dir
there you find lots of models

Then in worldcraft
put an env_model where you want the tree to be
look in its property's
model
click it , then to your right there will be a dir
example on what to enter is
models/palm.mdl
models/pine.mdl
then if you want to rotate it a bit there is this black cirkel
in the top right corner where you can set the angle

and for some map comments ,
it looks like you have been expirimenting with the carve functions .. don't do it (alllot)
Especially not for 'complicated' objects ..
as they tend to make waaaaaay to mutch
tiny pieces out of the big ones ..

basically don't think of making holes .. think of making everything around it
if you make a tunnel ( say basic square one )
you can either take a big one , make a smaller one carve your tunnel in it
or you can just place small walls to get the same effect ..
well nearly always the second way is better

Try expirimenting with hex editing but make sure every face / flat surface stays flat and doesn't bend or you'll have errors

you mean craters ?

you can simply make those with this easy

get 4 triangular brushes

line them up like this
------
\ /
\/
/\
/ \
------

*note* imagen this looking like a blok and the name of the thingy's are wedges

then use the vertix manipulate tool on 1 of them
(make sure snap to grid is on )
drag the center ( or center 2 ) points down ( i nealy never use the yellow ones as they are hard to allign to a 'big' grid)

now do the same to the 3 other ones (so there are no gaps left ) and youll have a crater ! :)

this is the well best way i gues to make nice looking terrain

yes.. but make sure its in the ground :p
you can always get creative with those things :)
like relocate the center ( make sure not to bend any faces) , add more solids etc

oh yes once you finish your map .. make sure you know what textures you used ( click lift select on as many different one as possible)
then select your entire map and make it sky texture
then just retexture the visible parts
