ESF to Steam

Is mysticX one of the staff members? cause i aint seen nohing on the mainpage about this.
do we have to do steam? im not paying to play when i can do it for free! I thought ESF was free anyway!!

Err, no one said you had to pay for ESF. Although you DO need to buy Half-Life the game in order to play ESF. Since ESF is just a modification of HL.

And, i'm just a Moderator. I don't know if that's considered part of the ESF staff.

I CREATED A GAME OF ESF ON STEAM. I'M SORT OF A NEWBIE TO THE WHOLE MULTIPLAYER THING SO I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN JOIN OR NOT. BUT HEY IT'S A ESF SERVER UP. SO COME.....I NEED TO TEST MY SKILL LOL :laff:

Steam is a program that offers all the latest Valve products. CS 1.6, DOD, Team fortress, half-life etc. It's like the new version of half-life.

Steam is all sweet and cousie but i just can't seem to "target" some one, i need to klick 14 times on the dessired person (there goes the fun another kame-wave in my face)

The targetting delay is just a bug i beleive... don't know how, or when it'll be fixed... but it won't matter after 1.2 comes out.

And it seems that the beems in esf move a lot faster, at me they do, I think they do That's what my eye tells me.
And do you have those stupid colors for the ki life etc like in this pic:

Well steam isn't that bad. I actually have had nothing but good to say about it. The big plus for me is that it added games I didn't have, like DOD! I love that game. lol But anyway. At first steam didn't work for me it kept messin up, it would freeze when i try to login. :S But since I reinstalled (the full version which took aLOOOOOOOOOOONG time to download) it's been workin really good. Maybe you should reinstall it. I dunno it worked for me....just lik hukd on foniks....kant u tell? lol

Guys this thread does not exist to allow you all to ask each other what Steam is or what the difference is between Steam and Half Life, or anything about Steam that does not revolve directly around ESF. Really the topic has been responded to already and I would have closed this had I the power, but until somebody else does, keep it on topic. If you have questions solely related to Steam post them in the help section or refer to the Steam official forums.

What the hell!A monthly subscription?!This sucks my friend is using WON fine just playing the games as normal no probs but why do you have to get steam as well you forced to or something?
