I was curious if I was allowed to borrow all of your textures you use for mapping, or some of them. I just recently got into it, and I was curious if I could at least borrow the water, grass, and the "mountain" textures.

As long as you give them back. ;)

A lot of maps on ESF-World use the textures included with the game, so I'm thinking go for it, but give them proper credit. The map will be for ESF, right?

I meant the ones that aren't in the actual WAD files.

Just use the textures that come with Half-Life. You just need the following tool - http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=25

Install it, go to the menu bar and click on "File" > "Open" > Locate "steamapps" folder found within your Steam program folder and double-click on "half-life.gcf". In the main window of GCFScape, open up "valve" and click on the "type" label to sort the files by extensions. Extract (right-click on the file(s) and select "extract") the following wad files:

halflife.wad
liquids.wad
xeno.wad

He means the ones embedded into the .bsp files.

Anyways, you can freely use all of the default esf models and textures in your maps, as long as you use them for ESF maps.
Using them for different games/mods is not allowed
