ESF progress

Hi, I'm new to this forum.
I am pleased to meet you all.

I've seen these latest pictures and videos of the ESF development and I must say... "Amazing".
Is it still running on the goldsource engine or is it the source engine?
Even big game companies are forgetting to polish games like this.

It has been a long time I had played ESF, I think that version 1.1 was the last one I played.
Good old times, just so many raging moments and joyfull memories.

After so many years, it seems like you guys never stopped working on it.
And still giving your best to develop this "Mod".
I must say, what is the motivation that drives you forward like this?
It's really hard to move forward without getting the reward back for it.

Because, I searched for a way to donate for the hard work that you guys delivered.
I couldn't find it on the website or don't you guys accept a small fee to get a beer/coffee or two?

The game still runs on the gold source engine, and it always will.

Anyway, they used to accept donations, but they decided it wasn't a good idea for legal reasons. A lot of the Force Pitters (excluding me and a few others) donated back and that's why they have a green name.

Actually thats wrong. We had donations in the past while Greg was still runing the server for the site on Octagone. Once we moved to our current provider, we no longer needed to pay for the server, so we stopped with the donations.
