If there is no lag with that bool and water effect, why isn't it implemented in esf?
I've just remembered about Naiteki Kensei,it uses the same stuff,right?

ssj_paul, the bloom effect and (specially) the water effect need a video card that supports pixel shaders. It might seem unbelievable but there are people with low-end graphic cards.
The water effect might need some special texture for it. The maps with water in them would have to be updated.
Also, it's been almost 6 months since the last update, what makes you think that the bloom thingy isn't in the mod yet.

well i think can keep that water original func_water entity and add a new entity exactly like thatone but with that efect, so old maps work

The water effect is a shader. I think it works a bit like bump mapping. So it would only apply on a certain type of texture. Anyway, it would imply editing the maps.

no it would not, its completely done by the code and nothing needs to be changed on the maps

(in that NNK video, all advanced effects were turned off btw.)
