esf maps

I downloaded a few maps from esf world but I dont know how to install them or play on them or whatever. Can anyone help me out?

when you unpacked the map and there is an BSP file in there then just move that into
moddir/maps

It will register under the map selection screen in the game and everything? Cool. Oh and I have another question, I also downloaded character models but I dont know how to install that either any help please?

Yep, as long as the mapper did his job right.

Model "installs" are basically the same, you just replace files that are already there. Go to \esf\models\player, copy your downloaded model into the right folder, and give it the same name as the one(s) in there had before. They're called by name, so make sure it's exact.

Just make sure you backup your old/default files, incase the ones you downloaded don't work, or you want to switch back.
