esf desktop icon

Hey can someone help me out here. I want to set my ESF desktop icon to go straight to esf instead of steam. I searched around and i found this to put in the directory "C:\Sierra\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game esf". I tried that and it works its just that all of my levels are the half life levels instead of the esf levels. So when i play, im playing esf in half life's levels. can someone find another directory or whatever there called.

C:\Programme\Valve\Steam\Steam.exe -applaunch 70 -game esf
that should do it.

make sure teh bit before the Valve folder is actually where your steam is as well

Hold it, that wont try to start up valve will it? because i dont have valve and i dont plan on getting it or installing any time soon.

Well its loading STEAM but its going right away in ESF,
if thats what you mean

well if you don't use steam you cannot play online. Is that ok with you?

Yeah i cant play online anyway. i dont have the net and all i want to do is play a lan game with bots. is there any way to load esf without steam and not have the levels from halflife show?

You should install ESF the old way then

Install Half-Life or Full Counterstrike
and update them to the latest Release (good luck finding patches)

the instll ESf by setting the install dir. to the Half-life folder.
and then try it.

There might be a other way now, but i cant think of one now :laff:

copy the esf folder wherever the hell it is. move it to programs, steam, steam apps, (user name) halflife, paste here.

that shouls solve all problems you have with any mods.
