ESF B1.2 MP3-Player bug

Music and Mp3 Player as well as Playlist Editor didn't work.

Here is what i've done.

1) I downloaded ESF B1.2 Full installer.
2) I installed Half-Life.
3) I updated Half-Life to 1.1.1.0
4) I installed ESF B1.2 (Full, with MP3s, japanese voices)
5) I played esf (but there was no music and mp3 player didn't open)
6) I exited esf, started the playlist-editor and got an error message

"Could'nt locate your HL / CS / Steam location. Closing"

What shall I do? (I don't wan't to use Steam)

YOU HAVE TO ACTIVATE IT FROM THE CUSMOTISE MENU!
Where you put your name and stuff. in advanced i think it is

True, i found the menu.
Multiplayer -> Customize -> Advanced

There you can also (de)activate 24bit textures, 3D-Rocks and much more.

The main problem is that those settings dont save correctly -_- No worries though, we fixed all of that in the beta 1.2.1 patch, which is releasing next week.

yup i just found that out
those settings only last until you exit the game :cry:

There is no autoexec anymore.
Put this in your esf folder

You should also get Steam, since its a crapload better than HL 1.1.1.0 (WON)

I don't want to use steam!
I didn't encounter any problems
when using HL.
