Just got ESF Alpha 1.5 to work on Steam, though has some strange side effects (since it was originally built before Steam ever existed). My general idea is to provide a week's hosting (currently deciding on time) to experience the fun of what it feels like before even Alpha 2.0 came around (though did get released the same year).

I'm hosting it for one week as stated above. It might start next week or the week after (if enough votes get in). Alpha 1.5 is outdated, but would be a great way to look at part of the past.

Might do that since Alpha 2.0 was one of the best alpha versions ever (in my opinion anyway).

Allso because alpha 2.0 is the onlyone thats hosted on esf-world and hl2 files. I was suprised you even found a 1.5 install XD

The Egypt cluster stand-alone-test Wayback Machine service is not working.

And in conclusion, here is a sentimental message from ye olde unplanned-outage.html:

Thank you for your patience while we restore this service.

Erm... I'm pretty sure you can't download really anything off of archive.org. Not everything is archived, and I'm definitely sure you cannot download .exe files from that website.

Not true, I was able to download old executables from that website (as long they are listed in the archived pages, which binary mode makes it easier). It's ZIP files that are difficult to find and undownloadable.

Who are we kidding though... Beta1.0 spoiled the **** out of us.

We'd get bored of Alpha 2.0 in 5 minutes.

Nice combination. Imagine sticking SSJs into Alpha 1.5 like what happened to Alpha 2.0 with the famous SSJ Script.

Eh, I never got bored of the Alpha, in fact it was my most favorite version. I really wish someone had the SSJ script that Antoine made. Also, if the servers are popular I highly doubt they would get boring. And I could've sworn ESF World already had Alpha 1.5.
