does anyone no how many vertices or pollý´s or whatever a half-life model can have maximum, cause i made a model and it sez `` ERROR ``To many vertices``

please help, thnx already

hl can handle up to 3000 polys but it makes the engine crashing more often and causes a low fps

thnx, but can HL handel like 2000 to 2500 polly´s easily?
or does it crash either at 2000 to 2500?

but thnx anyway no i can edit my model with less polly´s

I would say try keep it at about 2000 or lower.
Although, i have been playing with that Bebi Oozaru model (about 3200 poly's) and i've had no problems so far. I even play against 2 other BebiOozaru's and its fine.

I got no probs at all. I can run fine with like 5000 . I think , well never tried that much, But it's suppoused to be standarded around 1500-2000, depends on comp , fps n some other ****

hmmm , i dont think that error could happend only maybe if you make something around 10000 p. maybe?!
