Well I decided to throw together some pictures to show you guys what I have been working on (with some help from DD of course :]). Anyways there are still some technical errors and some smoother gameplay additions I want to make (which won't change the layout too much).

You can make the dashes on the road connect to eachother in the corners. It's not sao hard, if you like i'll tell ya.

what about the mountains in the background?
what are those dark lines going from the top to the bottom?? looks like a carpet tex!

I have to make another compile soon so I'll fix those . I'll probably make like an intersection type brush to divide it up or something.

Thanks man, use exclamation marks ( ! ) instead of lines ( | ) at the end of my name :smile:. As I said above I am fixing the streets.

We based our textures from the game, and that is how they look

C00l. ^_^ I really like this mapstyle btw, what is this earth bound about, is it based on some sort of cartoon?

Its an RPG for SNES

http://www.starmen.net is a fan site, where you can get some information about the game. It was one ground breaking RPG that I had played a couple times at a cousins house when I was like 7 years old

Oh and by the way, the insides for this map will include:

- Hospital
- Hotel
- Game Shop
- Police Station
- Library
- Town Hall
- Bakery
- Drugstore
- Burger Shop

This map is basically a recreate (unfortunately due to lag problems had to be cut down a bit, but nothing that will effect it totally) of the city of Onett from Earthbound. And people who play EB know that Ness' house is part of Onett, but we had to leave it out because the map matrix is too small to include it. Think of that as a separate map that may be shown in the future :]

Oh and here is an easter egg we want to incorperate, but we are not sure of how we are going to. Like actually be able to go in or just hit use and a picture of this pops up ...

That definietly has to be a go in=P Make sure to place a sign above the door saying, entrance under 18 yrs not allowed =P

If you've played Earthbound, Super Smash Bros, the Mother series for Nintendo 64, you'll know Ness, especially from Super Smash Bros Melee.

on-topic: will you release any Earthbound soundtracks like the ones in SSBM?

I don't know, it may cause copyright issues, but I am pretty sure they are up for download on some sites. So I am not sure, that really isn't my job .
