I need advice on what program to buy for DVD burning.

Now, I don't want to burn data DVD discs, I want to be able to take things I record and save on my comp (ex. In-game footage) and be able to burn them to DVD+Rs to play on my DVD player in the living room.

HOWEVER, I don't know what program would be the best for this situation.

Can someone offer up some advice?

Well, you're asking which is the best, and I'm telling you--the easiest one I've found is a program that comes with the Nero package, called Nerovision Express 3. You can take any AVI, MPEG, etc--and convert it to MPEG2(DVD video) for normal DVD-player playback.

You can burn with both DVD R, RW, and DL types. It's pretty fast if the video source is already in MPEG2, but if it's in another format it'll convert it--but you'll lose some video quality and it takes awhile. It can also convert NTSC-->PAL and vice versa.

Closer to what you're asking--this program also allows you to directly capture video and burn it.
