This really should be "inspired by Dragonball" or "Loosely based off of Dragonball", not full out "Dragonball". It seems to be one of those movies that take franchise, and do whatever the hell they want with it. If anyone is expecting a good adaptation to the real manga/show, then you're hopes are too high.

I saw a moon though. If Ozzoru (?) turns out to be this human sized werewolf...I wouldn't be surprised.

"First ever live movie"? I don't think so. A dragonball movie has been made before long time ago. Heck, I've even see that movie and it was quite bad. But, what do you expect. It is an old movie.

The film is currently scheduled for an April 10th, 2009 release in North America and a March 2009 release in Japan. The movie has a budget of around $100 million dollars, and the movie’s runtime is estimated to be about 100 minutes.

That had better just be a bad first-look trailer, because otherwise, it looks entirely like that fighting got pussified. If there's little to no flying, it's fine, but I want to see ki attacks, and annihilated ****, not combat taken from Crouching Tiger; Hidden Dragon. The scale needs to get a lot bigger. There needs to be at least ONE Kamehameha in this movie. And since I really want to see a Saiyan and Frieza saga, they'd better not tank this and then get cancelled. It's mindless violence, how can they POSSIBLY **** this up?

Comparing DBZ to Spider-man and Iron Man is like comparing DBZ (I was going to say ****, but DBZ is clearly the lesser of the two) to Spider-man and Iron Man (I was going to say the greatest works of art ever, but Marvel Comics are clearly the greatest anything ever produced).
