I have a gamecube.

but that new zelda game..

the GFX look horrible.I think PSX Grafix look better
Its the only Zelda game i wont buy...

Thats why they threw in the 2 zelda remakes. since they think
no one will buy it.they butter you up with a couple of free remakes

I think i bought my gamecube for metroid prime but thats it.

the graphics are not static. it still has lighting, shadows, etc but is is cartoony. i would have liked it better if it was more detailed and more detailed models, zelda 64 has pretty bad graphics but good at its time. i will probably play it.

Truthfully, those Zelda games aren't at all remakes. I own that promotional disk, and its the same game, graphics, sounds, everything is the same. The other version, Master Quest, just adds harder enemies earlier on in the game, nothing really more than that.

And the graphics in Wind Waker are still crisp, smooth, and fully 3 dimensional, they are just cel-shaded. Although it is hard to tell from still screenies, movies corrected my opinion on the game, it looks incredible!

Again, this is not a console war, it is a matter of finding who owns a GCN, nothing more. And I reaffirm, the next person to draw a comparison costs the life of the thread. :\

Gamecube has plenty of games. And they are just getting warmed up. Here are some good games, go buy them! Super Smash Bros. Melee (way too much fun), Mario Sunshine, Star Fox, Metroid Prime, and soon to be released Zelda.

There are many more good games than these.

I own a Gamecube. And I wouldn't trade it in for a Playstation for anything. :) And they do already have an online game, it's called Phantasy Star I&II I believe.

You guys are crazy if you are taking graphics over story and gameplay. There is NOTHING wrong with Cell shading. Look at the robotech game for X-box. The game itself is sub-par, but the graphics are crisp and beautiful. It looks just like the show, only at 60fps. The new zelda will look like a cartoon in action, and that isn't a bad thing, it's just different. Give it a try, people. You once played Sonic the Hedgehog and Super Mario bros and you didn't complain that it wasn't realistic.
