dll problems

Alright, had to install steam, no other choice. So I did, now none of the servers run the same game I guess. It always says when I try to join that the server has a dll file than me. What do you suggest I do? Reinstall everything? And where do I get the orginal esf, then to upgrade to 1.2.1

Are you running 1.2.1? Because if you are not then that is the reason for your error

well...it might also be that he has the newer fmod.dll if he plays sven co...cuz the fmod.dll he needs is like 3.6.0.0 while the other is like 3.7.1.1 or sumthin..after he switches the fmod.dll (3.6 one) to his half life directory and places the 3.7 one sumwhere else he shuld b fine
