Display problems

Ok well I installed my old vodoo 3 card in my back up comp and i'm not sure what is the best video settings direct 3d or open GL , not to mention I tryed open GL in the lowest resoultion and I got worse fps then I did in 640 x 800.
Yes I have d/l some vodoo 3 driver and direct x 9.

comp specs:

Pent 3 332mghz
128mb ram
vodoo 3 *before it had a monster 3d II in it*

Well, I would start with tweaking and performing some maintenance on your comp, but I'm not gonna go into that, for it would require lots of the typing and I'm just not feeling up to that at the moment. But for in-game tweaks use my script pack

cl_dusttrails 0
cl_beamquality 0 (<-- I'm not sure about this)
add these entries into your "autoexec.cfg" of ESF that should give you a lil boost in fps
