How about a blow that knocks a player down a level of transformation(s)? Maybe scored for hits from behind maybe? Might only affect certain characters that can descend for balance?

I dunno, it's a rough idea but run with it!

Basically a critical blow?
Hmm this could add a bit of extra strategy to the game.

Especially since you get increased damage from having less PL.


This should be worked out further tbh, it has good potential.

If most characters have a transformation that depends on stamina, then knocking out stamina would have the same effect, so that could be a good option.

This idea has a great concept to it. I would love to see critical hits in this game. Maybe have a good cost to it though.

Critical hits are nice. In 1.2 melee featured block breakers which kinda qualified as critical hits, but since 1.3 has a totally different system, I can see how this could actually become part of the actual gameplay.
It would have to be strategically implemented as to avoid spamming it.

Crit hits were kind of in 1.2 unofficially thanks to a bug. If you hit someone at a certain angle, you'd do a hit that knocked someone far away / did something like three times the damage of a normal hit.

In the open beta it's also sort of in. The stronger you are / the weaker your opponent is, the more damage and the further you knock someone back when you hit them.
